To the newcomer PRINCE2 can represent a bewildering array of jargon. Terms like 'integrated elements', 'principles', 'themes', 'processes' and 'management and specialist products' can overwhelm course delegates or self-studiers on first exposure. Understanding what these terms mean in simple language and, even more important, how all these elements of PRINCE2 fit together, is the major hurdle that needs to be overcome if the many benefits of the method are to be unlocked. The book includes Ian's unique diagrams and explanations that have a proven track record of making the method highly accessible to newcomers.

This is a project manager's must have! I’ve been delivering projects for many years, provided critical analysis of materials and trained countless business and ICT resources in the principles of project management. I don’t think I’ve ever come across a publication that captures the ‘common sense’ approach so well when applying PRINCE2 appropriately to a project. To see a methodology that can be over complicated and a constraint in itself in the wrong hands, delivered in such a logical way is very refreshing! Brian Hole, ICT project manager, Dorset CC

Brilliant! Really clear, easy to follow. Highly recommend. Stacey Kaszubowski, project manager, Osborne Clarke
